Recently, the actor’s fans alleged that deliberate attempts were made to tarnish the actor’s popularity after Vijay’s posters were torn and faces were blackened by unknown elements.
Now the fans are protesting against the police for bringing down a large hoarding of the actor, which was displayed in a cinema in Ashok Nagar, Chennai. The fans had earlier raised their doubts that political elements were behind the act, but now complain that the police are being used for exacting political revenge.
Vijay’s fans have lodged a formal complaint to the Chennai City Police Commissioner.
