vijay participates in makkal iyakkam

Ilayathalapathy Vijay recently attended a meeting organised by his welfare organisation Makkal Iyakkam in Salem. The meeting was organised by his fans to distribute relief and welfare materials to the needy and enroll new members for the Iyakkam. Vijay and his father S.A. Chandrasekhar addressed the gathering. The actor expressed his happiness on AIADMK’s victory in Tamil Nadu and also thanked his fans for their love and support.

On the career front, Vijay has just wrapped up the shoot of Raja’s Velayudham and has started working on Shankar’s Nanban. After completing this project, he is likely to team up with directors A.R. Murugadoss and Seeman.

கௌதம் மேனன் இயக்கத்தில் விஜய்...

வேலாயுதம்', 'நண்பன்' ஆகிய படங்களை அடுத்து ஏ.ஆர்.முருகதாஸ் இயக்கத்தில் நடிக்க இருக்கிறார் விஜய். இப்படத்தை ஃபாக்ஸ் ஸ்டார் ஸ்டூடியோஸூடன் இணைந்து எஸ்.ஏ.சந்திரசேகர் தயாரிக்க இருக்கிறார். இந்தப் படத்தில் விஜய்க்கு ஜோடியாக 'உதயன்' பட நாயகி ப்ரணிதா ஒப்பந்தம் செய்யப்படலாம் என்று கோடம்பாக்க தகவல்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன. கௌதம் மேனன் தற்போது ப்ரதீக் பாப்பர், எமி ஜாக்சன் ஆகியோரை வைத்து 'விண்ணைத்தாண்டி வருவாயா' படத்தினை இந்தியில் இயக்கி வருகிறார். இப்படத்தை முடித்து விட்டு விஜய்யுடன் இணைகிறார் கௌதம். அஜித்திற்கு என்று தயார் செய்யப்பட்ட 'துப்பறியும் ஆனந்த்' கதையினை விஜய்க்கு ஏற்றவாறு சிறு மாற்றம் செய்து இருக்கிறாராம் கௌதம். படத்தின் தலைப்பை மாற்ற வேண்டாம் என்று கூறி விட்டாராம் விஜய். இப்படத்தினை கௌதமின் தயாரிப்பு நிறுவனமான PHOTON KATHAAS தயாரிக்க இருக்கிறது.

Nanban Christmas Released

By now, we all know that director Shankar is busy with his upcoming comedy entertainer Nanban (remake of the Bollywood blockbuster 3 Idiots).
Vijay, Srikanth and Jiiva will play the lead roles in Tamil, S.J. Suryah will play the role of Chatur (Omi Vaidya), Ileana D’Cruz will appear in the role played by Kareena Kapoor, and Sathyaraj will appear as the insensitive professor Virus, which was played by Boman Irani.
The movie will be released in Telugu as 3 Rascals. Harris Jayaraj has already started composing music for the film. The film will reportedly have its grand music launch in August!
The latest buzz is that the film will grace theatres for Christmas this year.

பொள்ளாச்சியில் படப்பிடிப்பின்போது கவுண்டமணி தாயாருடன் விஜய் சந்திப்பு: உடல்நலம் விசாரித்தார்

விஜய், ஹன்சிகா, ஜெனிலியா நடிக்கும் “வேலாயுதம்” படப்பிடிப்பு பொள்ளாச்சியிலும் அதை சுற்றியுள்ள பகுதிகளிலும் நடந்து வருகிறது. அங்குள்ள வல்லகுண்டாபுரத்தில் முக்கிய காட்சிகள் படமாக்கப்பட்டன. கதைக்கு பொருத்தமாக இருந்ததால் அவ்வூரை தேர்வு செய்தனர்.
விஜய்யின் தங்கையாக நடிக்கும் சரண்யா மோகனின் திருமண காட்சியை அங்கு எடுத்தனர். அப்போது ஊரே தங்கள் வீட்டு திருமணம் போல பாவித்து வீட்டுக்கு வீடு அலங்காரம் செய்து கோலம் போட்டு தோரணம் தொங்க விட்டு இருந்தனர். சீரியல் லைட்டுகளும் போட்டு இருந்தார்கள்.
கிராமத்தினர் அளித்த ஒத்துழைப்பால் படக்குழுவினர் நெகிழ்ச்சியானார்கள். படப்பிடிப்பின்போது அந்த கிராமத்தில்தான் காமெடி நடிகர் கவுண்டமணியின் வீடு உள்ளது என்று விஜய்யிடம் தெரிவித்தனர். உடனடியாக விஜய்யும் படத்தின் இயக்குனர் ராஜாவும் அவ்வீட்டுக்கு சென்றனர்.
கவுண்டமணி தாயார் வீட்டில் இருந்தார். அவரிடம் விஜய் உடல்நலம் விசாரித்து வாழ்த்து பெற்றார். சிறிது நேரம் அவரிடம் பேசிக் கொண்டு இருந்தார். பின்னர் கவுண்டமணி வீட்டிலும் படப்பிடிப்பு நடத்தப்பட்டது.
வல்லாகுண்டாபுரத்தில் ஒரு கிணறு வெட்டி சில காட்சிகளை எடுத்தனர். படப்பிடிப்பு முடிந்ததும் அந்த கிணற்றை அந்த கிராமத்துக்கே தயாரிப்பாளர் ஆஸ்கார் ரவிச்சந்திரன் அன்பளிப்பாக கொடுத்து விட்டார். அந்த ஊரில் உள்ள மாசானி அம்மன் கோவிலுக்கு ஊர் மக்கள் விஜய்யை அழைத்துச் சென்றனர். அங்கு அவருக்கு பரிவட்டம் கட்டினார்கள்.

Ilayathalapathy​ goes for Dabangg director?

Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that Ilayathalapathy Vijay is likely to meet the Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap.

Abhinav is now considered to be the "ultimate mass director" in Bollywood after his Dabangg hit the bull's eye.

Bollywood industry feels that Abhinav had incorporated all  "south Indian mass masala ingredients including the larger-than- life hero concept in his debut film."

Vijay it seems want to experiment by bringing in a north Indian 'mass director' to give his larger than life mass hero image a new twist.

Earlier Abhinav Kashyap had lived in Chennai for a brief period, when he was assistant to Mani Ratnam during the making of Yuva.

Vijay gets a call from Gautham Menon

Lady Luck seems to smiling on Actor Vijay these days. He is currently working with maverick Director Shankar, who is directing him in Nanban and has bagged an offer to star in a flick that Gautham Menon is to direct.



However, this project will go on floors only in March 2012, as Gautham is already committed to direct Actor Jeeva  this year. In the mean time, Vijay will complete Nanban. With Gautham Menon having so much to concentrate in, his planned Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya Part 2 may be put in the backburner for now.

vijay is next project murugathas

It cannot get better than this as Vijay joins hands with the most celebrated filmmaker of Indian Film Industry. Yea! The actor will now join hands with A.R Murugadoss.The film will be produced by S.A Chandrasekar .Vijay will start working with A R Murugadoss after completing work with  Velayudham  and  Nanban.

Both Vijay and Murugadoss wanted to work together for a longtime now and it is becoming reality now. The film will be in typical style of Murugadoss and at the same time will satisfy Vijay fans.
